About me

Hi! I’m Giang, pronounced as ‘Zan’.

Who is Giang?

A Vietnamese girl who was born in Hungary and spent all of her life in Budapest, Hungary, but heavily influenced by Vietnamese culture. So far she speaks Vietnamese, Hungarian, English, French and currently she is learning Korean.

Two-cultured-girl…

As you see, I am a girl with two homelands. At first it causes me a problem, because I didn’t know where my root is. I am not Vietnamese, because  I have never lived there, but I am also not Hungarian, because my blood is full Asian. When I realized this, I was totally depressed, I didn’t know where I belong to, where my home is.

Later I realized, this is the best thing that life could ever give me. I can say, if I don’t have home, then it doesn’t matter where I live, or if I say I have two homes, then I can also have a third home, forth home… . And this is the beginning of the thought that I want to travel and see the world.

Why do I start the travel blog?

Since my childhood, I have recognized a lot of thing around me and I always examine my own thought, and draw up experience when I realize something. Like a puzzle, a big picture contains thousands of small pieces. The big picture of the puzzle is like your perfect life, you have to find the small pieces that fit to that big picture and you have to keep looking for it, try it and decide whether it belongs to that place or not. This thought came to my mind when I first played puzzle and same like this whenever I do something, I have thoughts that come to my mind related to life and I want to share with you all of these realizations.

My dream is to be a world traveller and to share all of my knowledge, my experience, my realization to people so to help them in reaching a fulfilled life, thereby starting a blog is a good beginning to fulfill my desire. I hope with my multilingualism, I can reach to many people and give them inspiration in different field of life.
